Lawyers receive fees in return for their intervention in the form of application, consultation, assistance, advice, drafting of legal documents under private signature and pleading.
Fees are set in agreement with the client.
The first consultation may result in the charging of a fee.
The Firm concludes in writing with its client a fee agreement, which specifies, in particular, the amount or method of determining the fees covering the foreseeable diligence, as well as the various costs and disbursements envisaged.
Fees can be calculated based on time spent or on a fixed price basis. An additional performance fee, resulting from a fee agreement, may be proposed.
The fees take into account, according to custom, the client's financial situation, the difficulty of the case, the costs incurred by the lawyer, his notoriety and his diligence.
